This is for all of you data Geeks out there. Here’s what to look for:

  • In the upper right hand corner you will see the median income for the American household.
  • The rest of the graph shows what’s called the Schiller Index which covers the major housing markets and the median price for homes.  The pain, or the gain, is in the difference between household median income and median prices for real estate.

Things will start kind of slow at first, but then watch what happens around 2000 and 2007.
